AI-Powered Respiratory Care

Predict. Prevent. Personalise.

AI-powered breath testing that flags early signs of an asthma attack up to 3 days before symptoms worsen — non-invasively, in under a minute.

Why It Matters

Predicting asthma attacks before they happen

Our AI platform analyses breath biomarker patterns linked to asthma deterioration — identifying a potential attack up to 3 days in advance, non-invasively, in under a minute.

01

Clinically Proven Accuracy

Exhale-Dx® detects asthma with strong accuracy using AI-powered breath analysis. No blood, no lab, no waiting.

02

3 Days Early Warning

Our deep learning framework predicts asthma attacks in advance, giving patients time to act before an attack occurs.

03

Fewer Attacks, Better Lives

Continuous monitoring from GP clinic to home reduces asthma attacks through early intervention and personalised care.

Our Story

Built by clinicians. Powered by AI. Driven by purpose.

Breath Predict was founded to solve one of healthcare's most overlooked problems — giving asthma patients and clinicians the tools to identify worsening respiratory health before severe attacks occur.

Our Mission

Diagnosis is too slow. We're changing that.

Nearly half a billion people live with chronic respiratory disease. Up to half of all asthma patients have an attack every year — not because treatments don't exist, but because diagnosis is slow, inaccurate, and often too late.

Breath Predict gives clinicians and patients the ability to act before an attack happens, not after.

Delayed diagnosis and poor monitoring drive preventable asthma attacks and hospital admissions every year.

Exhale-Dx™ analyses breath biomarkers and predicts attacks days in advance — non-invasively, in under a minute.

From GP clinic to home, we give patients and clinicians the tools to prevent attacks before they happen.

Exhale-Dx® Technology

The science behind Breath Predict

A non-invasive, AI-powered breath test that delivers clinical-grade asthma diagnostics in under 60 seconds — from GP clinic to home.

The Problem

Current asthma diagnosis is slow and inaccurate

Patients wait weeks for results. Devices are bulky, require lab setups, or deliver inconsistent readings. Existing solutions like FeNO, NiOX and Owlstone need complex equipment, trained operators and significant time — impractical for everyday clinical use or home monitoring.

We built Exhale-Dx® because current solutions are failing patients.

How Exhale-Dx™ Works

01

Breathe

The patient exhales into the Exhale-Dx™ device. No needles, no blood, no lab required.

02

Capture

The device captures breath biomarkers across 13 distinct parameters in real time.

03

Analyse

Our deep learning AI framework processes the data, detecting asthma patterns and calculating attack probability.

04

Act

Results arrive in under a minute, giving clinicians and patients actionable insight before an attack occurs.

Deep Learning

A framework trained on real clinical data

Our proprietary deep learning framework sits at the heart of Exhale-Dx®, trained on clinical breath data from patients across multiple sites to identify subtle biomarker patterns invisible to the human eye. It analyses 13 breath parameters simultaneously — including amplitude, variability and chemical composition — to build a complete picture of respiratory health. The technology is protected by two accepted international patent applications.

Internationally Protected

Exhale-Dx® is protected by two accepted international patent applications covering its 13 breath parameters and deep learning framework.

Clinically Validated

Validated in a published clinical pilot of 195 patients across adults and children. An NIHR-backed trial is underway to expand this further.

NHS & Pharma Ready

Partnered with leading CROs and pharma partners, working towards UKCA certification and FDA submission, and built for NHS workflows.
